My dear cat Boots is in crisis at the moment, and it's been touch and go. His numbers have improved with fluids but he is still miserable. We think it could be because of his feline herpes. His head has also started to drop which she thinks is due to low potassium. If it's not one thing , it's the other
The problem is, the vet gave me a script for Azithromycin, (to help his possible infection from feline herpes) and I just read online that you should not give it to cats with kidney disease! Now I am worried. Has anyone else been given this antibiotic for a cat who has kidney disease???
Any help is appreciated!
