Kitten is about 4 months old and although there are some tussles with the big boy they seem to get along. The problems start when you realize she hates being alone.
I recently had a New bed built. A king sized loft. I told the builder I wanted to do any painting or staining myself and as a result it took two months to get it assembled and stained .
Fast forward...I've been using the bed about a week now. Two days ago my big boy figured out how to get on and end table and leap up to join me. Kitten can't stand being alone so she.tries to.follow and.can't. Enter claws. Trying to climb up to meet us,she doesn't have the hind leg strength of her brother and either tries to climb the ladder or climbup the supports for the mattress, usually getting stuck between the matress andsupportss.
As a result Tue brand new bed is already getting significant scratches in the wood. I was hoping covering her claws for now would protect my furniture until she grows strong enough to just leap.
Can anyone advise?
