So I went back on PDD today to double check everything and print out a batch report to make food tomorrow. The lack of biotin was still bugging me. Looking online told me that biotin is truly a necessary part of a cat's diet, so if it wasn't provided in Alnutrin sufficient amounts would have to be in the meaty stuff. And it is! Liver is high in biotin! Biotin isn't included in any of the liver information on the USDA database though, so there's no way to know how much biotin is actually in the recipe. Iodine is also low according to PDD. Iodine is found in egg. Egg yolk powder is in Alnutrin. Yet the USDA database doesn't even say how much iodine is in eggs.
