I want to share my experience while changing from a heavy clay litter to light weight, Worlds Best Cat Litter.
Because the A&H clumping clay litter that we have been using for ages has become progressively dustier,
I decided that because of Dexter's Asthma, we had to stop using clay.
After much research, Worlds Best Cat Litter was my choice.
Three weeks ago I began mixing the clay with WB.
Yesterday, I cleaned the box and poured in all WBCL.
Mind you...Dexter & Sadie are almost 7 years old and have known nothing but clay littler.
Here are my observations about the way my kitties are reacting to this radical litter change.
WB is extremely light weight compared to clay.
Their feet sink into it when they stand in the box.
They look really confused.
Dexter, my 16lb hunk of cat, loves to dig and scratch in the box.
I had filled it to the height that I did with clay.
Dex created a Corn Storm after he used it, litter flying everywhere because it is so lightweight.
I will not go back to clay.
They are not enthusiastic about the change because WBCS is so different in weight, texture, color & scent than clay but I am convinced that if I stick with it we will all be better off.
Have you had experience changing to Worlds Best?
Any tips?
Also, have you tired the WB multiple cat litter?
Any feedback appreciated.
I really think we are going to like this litter.
