i signed up here because im worried
my kitten is 7 weeks
he is usually really hyper, bouncy all over the place, and eats like a hog
however today, he has barely touched his food
he is constantly yawning and sleeping
when i move over to him to play with him, he lets out a yawn and then falls asleep again

it might just be the weather as its humid

and,... this behaviour has only been for today, so less than 24 hours

but am i right to panic just because of 15 or so very lethargic not very hungry, not very playful hours?

please write back

much love

my kitten had the same symptoms. if your boy has a rounder stomach than usual then you must go to the vet! it may be a sign of FIP.

im really sad
he usually likes nibbling lightly on my finger (never bites hard)
but all he did was give a weak half nibble, and a sigh, and went back into his cot

If he recently had his inoculations, then that could be it. Otherwise, he needs to see a vet. Something is not right.

Neither of those should cause a problem. Especially a week ago.

I would call the vet

Give your vet a call. Something is going on with him, and the sooner it is resolved, the better for BOTH of you! Oh, and KEEP US UPDATED! You are part of this community now, and we are concerned!
