Kitty is having a eye enucleation. Freaking out.

Thanks so much for the information!  If you don't mind me asking, did the vet put any bandages on your cats eye that you had to change?

Kitty is having a eye enucleation. Freaking out.

Especially if anyone has seen their pet immediately after the surgery. My vet does not have staff on overnights to monitor him so they would check him before they left at 7pm and when they got there at 8am the next day. They said if I felt more comfortable, however, I can take him home the same...

Kitty is having a eye enucleation. Freaking out.

My poor 7 month old kitten had an accident a few weeks ago that caused the lens inside his eye to detach. We have tried everything we could in our power and financial state to save his eye, however, his eye will have to be removed to prevent further pain, and infection or sarcomas. I'm...

We left it alone for a whole day and even left the area in hopes the mother would come back for her. Unfortunately after a day she didn't and we decided to take...

Kitten with a URI and planes?

I have taken him to the vet and he is sneezing but his eye is barely watering and there's not discharge from his nose. I tried getting ahold of my vet today, but it wasn't in. I am calling him tomorrow for sure because I'm scared to fly without knowing. I'd hate to leave him here for four...

Kitten with a URI and planes?

I was recently at the vet with my 10 week old rescue kitten. He was diagnosed with what the vet said was just an upper respiratory infection, and he saw no cause to put my cat on any antibiotics or medications.  I am moving out to Washington from Illinois on Saturday and I'm flying on a plane...
