Thank you so much for posting this.  It's been about 3 weeks since I became 'mama' to a kitten.  He came to us injured; so that was first and foremost.  I am trying to learn all I can as I've never had a kitten/cat before.  I really appreciate these important tidbits!

I really like the "Litter House" that's a great idea. We just took in a stray with an injured paw, so Dodge has a regular open litter pan.  I've been wondering what other options are available.  I know hubby could make one of these.....I wonder if Dodge would use it! Thanks for sharing. 

Oh  can I relate ~~  A stray kitten gimped up to my husband the end of June.  He got caught in a trap of some sort.  The vet bill almost put me in cardiac arrest!  Poor things.  I hope yours is doing better!

My kitty came to us June 28 and this past week was the first we got to see what he did during a thunderstorm.  He stayed on his favorite pillow snoozing; but did jump when lightening struck very close and shook our entire house!  Now our K-9, Abby, she's a total wreck during storms!
