In all my years of owning cats I have never had a cat walk backwards. This is what my "new girl" Casper does when I put the harness and lead on her, she literally walks backwards all over the place its the funniest thing I have ever seen!

I splurged on the litter robot, the bin gets emptied every 2-3rd day no scooping  I wipe down the dome twice a week with those handy wipes. I do keep a box out on the deck that gets used very little. And one in Casper's safe room which gets scooped daily.
