Oh, I thought you needed something to scratch the cat. Was going to suggest

Any reason why that happened? I'm 54 and remember it happening when I was about to deliver a baby, and also when I was newly in love. If neither one is possible you might consider becoming my roommate? (I'm lazy)
Yes. early teens. What we thought happened (and all agreed on thru much OMG and convincing each other) and what actually happened are probably widely divergent. Should have had a cat present to verify if there was something other than teenage impressionism in the room.
I think Muffin looks very much like my Boo cat.
I was scrolling thru pics and having thoughts to post at the end but WAY too many cute pics, too many thoughts, lost track...

Hi, I know it's been a long time since I posted this, but for anyone interested in future I just found this today which explains it better than anything I found when I made the post -
The difference between a calico and a tortoiseshell is this:

Hi, thankyou all so much for your replies! It seems by the variety of answers that there's no easy definitive one, so I guess I'll just call her tortico then as it seems a more open term than tortoiseshell or calico. Boo & I are much obliged to you all.

When she was needing it more often I went back to the vet and now she is just on 1 pill every 3 days.
Hi.
My Sierra is on prednisone for asthma. I used to give it to her for a few days when she had a flare-up every month or so.
then it became a few a month, then once a week, then 2 times a week.
I took her back to the vet,and she is to have the prednisone every 3 days for life.
My question...
Hi, I was just about to post a question about my Sierra who is on prednisone, and I saw yours.
I have to give it to her every 3 days for asthma. I found that in the long run, the easiest way is to put it in a syringe with 1 - 1.5 cc's of water, shake it up good and then put her on the chair...
Wish I could be there - that's beautiful. Enjoy while you can. I had a white girl named Angel too. When I learn to scan my pics I will (hopefully) make her live for a moment again.
Perhaps you're really not ready yet - but apparently your baby is. You've already make your decision, now you will find yourself making preparations, and then you will find yourself looking forward to it. And when you feel the little one moving inside you all other considerations will become...
