Ahh sorry, I'm very sleep deprived lol. What I meant is that she ate the same wet food her whole life until it started giving her bad poop. I believe it was made out of tuna and chicken. I give her a salmon recipe dry food. But I haven't thought of the intolerance thing...
Her poops looked...
So, when she first got here I slowly switched her from the food she normally ate. I kept giving her the same wet food. She used the box a little bit before going outside and her poops looked normal. But then maybe a week after she started going outside I noticed the wet food gave her RLLY bad...
The new litterbox is relatively the same, its just a bit higher than the first one since shes grown. Also, i've tried placing the litterbox where she poops but will continue to go next to it anyways. I can try the no litter thing and see if that works, but most of the time she just lays in it...
Ahhh that's smart, I would much rather prefer my cat peeing outside rather than pooping outside. But I believe I have some paper pellets from when I first got her, her breeder told us she may need them because thats what they trained her with so we bought some. But she just took to the regular...
The vet just told me what you can find on the internet, its either stress, placement of box, or too dirty. And i'm not very sure how many days it took for her to start pooping outside the box, but I know she started after I took away her original litterbox because she was getting to big for it...
Sigh. I stayed awake a little and I caught her. I put her poops in the box and put her in the box for her to continue pooping. Ugh... I don't understand 😭 She was scratching the floor around the box like crazy. I put her in the box like four more times after. I feel like crying a lot lol I just...
Oooh alright, thank you :) Tracking is not a problem, I have this mat that has like two layers and it traps litter inside. I'll buy the sand if theres no luck getting her to poop in the litterbox tonight. She usually goes at night so it'll be a surprise when I wake up. Lol.
I know exactly what the first brand is, and I use it as of now. I can ask my mom if I can try regular sand. Can I buy just any type of sand and use it?
My bad for not responding everyone, i've been busy with school and sleep. Thank you for the new suggestions, about when I was keeping her in my room, I ended up only leaving her in here for about a night, I had school and she is still very playful, she's barely even one. And she does NOT like...
Yes i've tried multiple litters, including kittens attract. And I think that might be the source of the problem. She used to poop in the box just fine when she first got here, but then after I changed the litter she stopped pooping in the box. I think i've might of used at least three or four...
Hiii, so yes theres about three boxes, enough for them both. I even went and bought a new one so there isnt any type of scent of my other cat that might throw her off. I'm trying the last thing, and I hope it works.
Hi omg, its been a while. I'm trying this now :) I feel so bad because she really wants to get out the room, but she mostly poops outside the box at night so i'm keeping her in here for the night. She has her toys, litter, food, and water :) I've blocked off under my bed because if she does...
We did take her to the vet and they said nothing was wrong with her internally. I don't hear her crying or meowing when she goes to the box so I don't think she's sick.
Hello!! Recently my kitten (six months) has started pooping outside the litter box but peeing inside. We have three boxes and one older cat in the house. This is not an occasional thing and happens daily. We tried switching out litters to the one we used when we first brought her home (she...
Sorry if my post was confusing lol, im not good at spellchecking
But what i said was that my cats were not fed their wet food yesterday, and the kitten who was having diarrhea issues didn’t have them this morning when i came to clean out the box. Sorry for the confusion.
