Hi!
This is Twix, a stray cat that I've been taking of (she wonders the apartment hallways)
I think she has a very pretty coat, haven't seen many like it and it made me wonder what kind of cat she is.
Future thanks to all the cat experts
Thank you very much! I've also notice that the swelling has went down and his lip is looking better. The last time I was at the vet I buying food for my other cat and puppy, she wasn't sure too sure of what it was, and to just bring him in if it looked infected. She also said it was something...
the lip seemed to be healed, no bleeding or farther damage when I started taking care of him. I think I found him 3 months ago? He's an indoor outdoor cat, so something might have happened to his lip and it got infected is my guess.
Sorry for this late reply, but I live on a small island in the Philippines, and motorcycles are the most common vehicles here due to small streets. And there is only one vet on the island as well. But also unfortunately some of the neighborhood kids claimed that the kitten was theirs, and I...
Since I found my cat as a kitten, he's had part of his lip missing, only on one side, I looked up what could be the problem and google says it might be an ulcer. Recently the side has been swollen and I've been waiting to get a pet carrier to be delivered so I can take him to the vet. He doesn't...
There's quiet a few strays around my area, some that look really rough but won't let me near them. This kitty seems fairly healthy for being alone. It has a few fleas, I'm not sure if it has worms, but going to get dewormer anyways, its eating good and running around now. Also very talkative and...

Next time I'm in town I'll get her some dewormer. Thank you! I've noticed most of the stray cats around here have worms and other problems, and this one was surprisingly healthier than most of them.
I would take the poor little baby to a vet if I could, but the nearest vet is about an hour's drive and I only have a motorbike, so it would be hard to take it. I made some homemade formula for it, i havent tried feeding it anything else yet.
I just found this kitten about an hour ago, have been checking if there are any mama cats around but haven't seen any. The kitten looks older than what a kitten should, but is the size of one. It has green eyes, when a kitten this size should still have blue, and sharp teeth and claws. Was it...
I used coconut oil on her ears and combed it and it helped a lot, thanks! She liked it for a little bit, but I wasn't able to do the second her cause she didn't want to hold still anymore.
I used borderline, which was the only thing the vet had available here. But I've also mixed a small amount of apple cider vinegar with tuna water in her food cause I've read that helped. As well as brushed in coconut oil in her fur. The cornstarch was the first thing that popped up when I...
The cornstarch was something I read on Google, it said to sprinkle corn starch on the mats and to rub it with your fingers, then the mats will be easier to remove.
The black flakey build up in her ears is probably dried blood from mites, but in the photo you sent it looked like a mixture of rocks and mud. But it could have been both the dried blood in her ears and the dirt from your potted plant. Hope your kitty gets better!
In the last two weeks or so I've been taking care of a skinny abandoned stray kitty that came to me. I've given her medicine to help with any flees and mange/mites that she had. She has scabbed ears from the mange and I'm not sure if I should slowly remove them with corn starch. It looks more...
When he was younger he did have both stripes and spots, but they have faded out more, I think he has more stripes than spots, so he could be a broken mackerel. I'm also guessing that the red term used for his orange is similar when people use the term blue for grey cats.
Thank you! The reason why I thought he was a tabby in the first place was because of his M mark on his forehead, also when he was younger he had stripes and spots but not as much anymore, he's about 10 years old now.
Ever since I got my cat pumpkin, I've always thought that he was a tabby, but i know tabby is a very loose term and there are different types of the fur pattern. I'm wondering which type he is. He's orange and white, his belly being almost all white and his head and butt being orange. His fur is...
