Yes, unfortunately vomiting can occur in the last week or so of pregnancy. My cat just had kittens last week, and she was a little squeamish a couple days before giving birth.

I buy blackout curtains on clearance, and replace as needed (usually every four months). That way, my kitties can open the curtain and look outside whenever they want (or even sit in the window if they want) and I still have privacy.

A kitten that age does burn off quite a bit of energy! I would give him a third to a half of the can (a 3-ounce can) 3x a day. As for texture of the food, I suggest asking the current pet parent about the kitten’s preference. Each kitty has his own personality. Congratulations on your new friend ❤️

Good news! She hasn’t vomited at all today, and she visited her other feline friends for a few minutes. Sad news- one of the kittens (the runt) has passed away.

Since it’s bloody, I believe she is having her “bloody show” and the yellow mucus was likely bits of the mucus plug coming out. She will soon go into active labor if that’s truly the case. I don’t see any testicles or evidence of having had any (if neutered) and there appears to be a slit- not circle so I would say female.

Only you (and the vet) can make this decision. If she has been declining for a prolonged time without any improvement at all, then you can find peace in knowing she will no longer be suffering. Praying for you ❤️
