Question about cat poop color- what does it mean if stool is yellowish on the inside and brown outside?

yes- I know all that. I'm kind of wondering about what it means though? What do layers of colors of poop indicate? There is no tarry stool.

Question about cat poop color- what does it mean if stool is yellowish on the inside and brown outside?

I know the yellow isn't good and a sign of inflammation (chalk it up to the junky dry food i've recently been feeding her) but I've never seen one color coated with a normal brown on the outside. It's also kind of twisted/marbled a bit. Stool is pretty squishy but not liquid, it holds shape. Is...

    Thoughts About Rawz?

They use HPP (high pressure processing) to kill bacteria in their raw food. Then I think they freeze dry it or something so you buy it dry. Rawz now has canned varieties(not raw).Theyre about $2.25 on the shelf at my loal pet store. My cats like most of the chicken flavors.

Lawsuit Filed Against Champion- Acana And Orijen

Yeah, this is quite confusing. I'd like to see the outcome of this case, was there really heavy metals in the food or not?

    Dave's Cat Food

Mine is sort of on-and-off with Dave's but she's this way with most foods. Goes for something one day and another day won't touch it, just sits there looking at me until I ask her what's the matter and she meows. She likes the fish ones better. Other cat will clean his bowl every time doesn't...

    Ideas about Acana?

Apparently Chewys was bought by Petsmart last year and won't be carrying Acana or Orijen anymore. Chewy Letter • ACANA Pet Foods Can you show me the reviews where the Canadian variety is better than Acana? I never noticed a Canadian made Acana.

    Dave's Cat Food

Wow I didn't even know they had a Cat's Meow Line unless I didn't notice it on the can. I was referring to the Grain-Free Tuna & Chicken Dinner in Gravy, the others Ive seen all see to have carrageenan. Looks like they have a whole lot of flavors out!!

    Dave's Cat Food

My little girl is only lightly finnicky but she took to the Dave's flavor I mentioned above immediately. But I made sure to fill her up as a kitten (she was a tiny little runt) with as wide a variety of whole foods as I could from egg yolk to raw shrimp to high-end varieties like Wellness...

    Dave's Cat Food

Sorry that is my mistake, for some reason the one I bought happened to not have any carrageenan just guar gum. Most of the other flavors as I see do in fact have carrageenan still. But the flavor "Grain-Free Tuna & Chicken Dinner in Gravy Canned" does not.

Best Brands Of Wet Cat Food

Welllll cats would have eaten grains (as well as carb-rich plant material) as their prey did subsist on these foods and which would have been in their stomachs then eaten by cats. So cats are equipped to handle them in small quantities, just not high ones. It's one of the reasons cheap kibble is...

Best Brands Of Wet Cat Food

Not only do they use artifical flavors, they also use dyes (completely unnecessary to cat nutrition)- "added color" and Red 3 a known animal carcinogen, "meat by-products" as well as menadione bisulfite, which is still sort of up in the air in terms of quality.

    Dave's Cat Food

Just a note, Dave's has since removed the carageenan, added gravy flavors and lowered the price way down (they are now the most inexpensive high quality cat food on the market I think). They even have inexpensive dry food. They are readily available at my local pet store and online pet food...
