I have a quick question! Mum Cat has been leaving her kitten periodically for some fuss from me and has a little nap away from the kitten. When she cries she does go back to feed her. I’m probably being paranoid after losing the other one but is this all normal

Just a little update, kitty Is sleeping soundly on my chest. He’s raspy and crackled but still has seems to have some fight. I’m not holding out any hopes but praying for the first time ever. Sweet little dude had some life in him still so if he’s fighting hard I will too for him

Vet has called back. He’s the only one in for the next 6 hours. The next vet closer to us is a few hours drive. (We live in a small town far away from many cities/other towns) do you think we can wait that long? I can’t stop crying, I didn’t realise how much this little fellow means to me.
