I'm so sorry for your loss.
When my Frankie passed I had him cremated. I keep his box of ashes in the back of my closet..where he used to like to hide...to keep him close to me
Okay..my kitten gave me and our 6 other cats ringworm and i panicked!!
I opted for the sporanox treatment...very expensive...325$ a bottle..but the ringworm was gone in about 3 weeks.
I also bought this spray mixture to kill ringworm and sprayed it on scratching posts...etc.
Washed my...
Thank you
Also..in the last 2 years we adopted 2 kittens..and i know they cannot be around a radioactive cat...and we live in a studio. .so not able to separate them
All cats are adults, now...7 btw. ..lol...yikes!!!
I am so mad at my vet right now! My cat is going in for a full body sonogram to make sure her hyperthyroidism hasn't affected her heart or her kidneys
Also..after her bloodwork last week i had to keep calling to finally get her results..and lo snd behold her thyroid numbers are high
And 2...
Thanks for the replies. I have no problem pilling her.
I'm going into the vet tomorrow and will ask his advice on the radioactive iodine therapy
Thank you
Hello
My 14 year old has been on medication for 2 years for hyperthyroidism. Her dosage has just been increased for the second time..she is at 1 5mg pill of mezathamisol twice a day.

Also, I pondered radioactive iodine therapy but my vet...
My cat has hyperthyroidism. I give her a pill twice a day..12 hours apart.
I am going away for a week and a pet sitter will come to dose her. However, the pet sitter will dose my cat at 9 AM and then 5 PM each day.
Is this time interval between doses going to affect my cat?
Thanks
Melissa
No he doesn't. Does not kwt me go near him and when i walk away he is barely interested in the food.
I don't think there is a tnr caretaker in my area. I am tnr certified and the woman who teaches the class basically told me that my neighborhood is not feral cat friendly

The Dawn dish soap bath does work....but i do 3 in a row with flea combing in between each bath...all at one time, to be clear
Also...your cat should be indoor only!!! It is safer for Mocha...for wildlife...and easier on your wallet as you can't even afford flea medicine!@@
Thank you for your insight.
My only issue is that i live in a one room home, basically. Separate kitchen and bathroom and a terrace..but it is NOT screened in.
There is no way to separate anyone...and keeping either Madeline or the kitten in the bathroom seems cruel.

Yes..just give it time. As far as his health, you posted that he is snuggling right now. So, it sounds like he is enjoying himself.
And i want to stress what i mentioned...our cat was pacing so much...up high on our furniture..that i thought perhaps she had some type of feline ocd...and the...
The new dog stresses him out?
Sometimes it takes awhile for animals to get used to eachother
My husband and i have 7 cats in a studio condo...yeah, it is very tight and crazy!...
Our cat Laguna freaked out when we got our 7th, for a few weeks...hissing and paceing
Then one day, she was back...
