Wow Saturday she looks ready to pop!!!

:crossfingers: bengal mom that CoCo has a safe delivery. I know hurry up and wait is hard advice to take. I would have called a vet by now to come check on her because I’m insane worrier. If things do go wrong (which I doubt will happen) having a copy of her medical records along with numbers of your local ER vet hospitals and mobile vets might be helpful.
We have a file folder with all her info/records ready to go in the off chance we will need it. We also have everything we need to help at home in case things go wrong. I did call our vet but she said with her not being in any distress and the kittens still being active, it sounds like she just has longer to go and suggested I wait another week before bringing her in as transporting her right now might just cause unneeded stress. But if she doesn't have them by Friday (4 days away) I will be bringing her in for sure as that will be close to 70 days for her. I will keep you all updated and let you know!! We are crossing our fingers that she delivers the kittens naturally and safely!

Even if you do bring her in, she should not be induced or given a C-section without first doing x-rays to determine how many kittens there are and at what stage they are in their gestation.

Most cats will go into labor naturally when their bodies are ready. Even 1-2 days premature can cause kittens to struggle to latch, etc. or even die.

Oh I completely agree! I wouldn't allow them to do an induction or c-section without doing an x-ray first to make sure everything is okay/kittens gestation and positions etc. I'm just a little worried and hope we don't have to, as bringing her to the vet is not something she enjoys. Of course if she needs to go my husband and I will bring her in but we really want her to have a natural birth. I feel like she's been showing signs forever so it's just a little stressful. She is still very happy though and has little spurts of energy (running on her cat wheel full speed for 5 seconds lol or chasing her sister around the house (a female tortie point Siamese). Thanks for the reassurance!! She just looks so uncomfortable and big so I'm hoping she'll be starting labor sooner than later :)
Here is another picture I took of her approximately 2 hours ago. Her belly looks alot smaller for some reason

Holy moly, I got nervous too, just by reading all your posts. How exciting, but also nerve wracking! I hope she'll give birth soon, poor thing. Must be so uncomfortable. Not mentioning the stress it gives you, not knowing when it'll happen! Fingers crossed.

Still no signs of labor... just a quick question - so I can be sure the kittens have dropped and can stop second guessing myself lol - IF they have dropped, where would I feel them? I can feel the kittens move underneath her stomach where her nipples are and they are right down to in between her legs. Thanks everyone!!

It’s hard to say without seeing her. A pregnant cat’s sides tend to appear less full when standing once the kittens move down. Sometimes it’s very obvious when a cat has dropped and other times less so.

Thank you!! From what you've said, what I've read and the breeder I spoke to - it does sound like she has dropped but then again I can't be 100% positive as I'm still so new to this. The kittens do look alot lower and she looks "less pregnant". Today though since approximately 215am (5 hours ago), Coco has been extremely vocal. If I leave the room she's in, she will follow me and cry outside the door. She wants to be with or near me at all times. Even when she's walking, she is meowing loudly as well. I'm hoping this is a sign of labor as she has been fairly quiet up until this point. When she cries when I leave the room, and I return or open the door for her, she will lead me to her nesting box 99% of the time. Is this a good sign?
I am probably overreacting and noticing EVERY symptom since I am impatiently waiting.. lol driving myself a little crazy over here :flail:

Yes! This is a good sign! This is typical of labor. Many, but not all, cats want their special person close by when they are laboring. The level of her vocalizations tells me that her body is probably experiencing pain.

Keep us posted!

Just checking to see how your girl is doing. :vibes:
She seems to still be the same as this morning (in early labor I think but not positive). She is still being very very vocal which isn't like her and she is resting lots and not eating as much. No visible contractions though yet! Kittens movement has definitely slowed down and I can feel the kittens underneath her stomach down to in between her legs. Hoping tonight or tomorrow! She has until Friday(2 more days) before I bring her into the vet if she hasn't had them by then. Praying for a quick and easy delivery for her!!!

Here are two pictures of baby girl right now. She is laying on the kitchen table which is in front of the window, she's getting a nice breeze.

She has went back to sleeping and being quiet. It's looking like the vet visit will be happening on Friday!! Unless she has them before then. Fingers crossed!

I doubt anything is wrong. It’s just not quite time yet. She must have been having some pre-labor, Braxton Hicks type contractions earlier today.

I'm sitting on the couch watching TV with my husband and she just made the loudest meow I've ever heard. I ran out to the kitchen to see what was wrong but she was back laying on the cool flooring like nothing happened. I think she is having some pain, which is why she is meowing like that. I guess only time will tell :)

Yep, she had a contraction.

My cat gave a HUGE meow, jumped out of bed with me, then ran to her nest in another room and started pushing on the day she gave birth. But, like your cat, she was lying on the cool tile floors laboring the 24 hours before. I could see the contractions in her sides though. Do you see ripples in her sides?

I was sitting in the living room when she meowed like that and she was in the kitchen so I wasn't able to see her at the time she must of had the contraction. I'm going to lay with her for a little now before I go to sleep (only if she doesn't progress in labor) so I willl let you know if I see any visible contractions!

Sarthur2 Sarthur2 I'm not able to see any ripples in her sides but right now she is laying under the kitchen table so it's a little hard to see her and her stomach. Hoping she progresses tonight will keep everyone updated!!
