Hi! I recently purchased Da Bird wand which my two kitties love. It even gets my lazy boy going. My only issue is that the knot that holds the feather to the wand has become undone, after only four days! I have tried double/triple knotting it but it becomes undone during one play session. I have checked Amazon reviews and Google, but I have not found a solution. :disappointed: Does anyone here have an answer?

If you're talking about where the string that's attached to the feather and it came off, what you can do is heat up a thin wire (make sure your cat is not around when you do this as you don't want your cat to be burnt) and push it through and make a hole where the string is supposed to be tied to. After making the hole, thread the string through and tie a dead knot but the only thing is that the feather may not have a perfect flight but it's better than coming off.

But if it's the tip of the wand, simply use a little strength to pull out the tip and stick a little super glue on the tip and place the string there and push back the tip.

Do not use too thick a string as it'll be heavy and if it gets caught on your kitty, it may not break off. Safe way is when playing with Da Bird is not to hold the wand too tight just in case the string gets caught on your cat and he runs off with it, the and will just slipped off your hand without hurting your cat.

I just have to retie the knot every once in a while. I quadruple knot it.

I just looked at mine, and I can see how the knot would come undone, although mine never has. You could try putting a drop of superglue on the knot after you tie it.
