I know this thread is pretty old, but I just bought this cat food TODAY for the same reasons......it's reasonably priced and it has good ingredients! I really hope my fur babies approve.
It's been almost a year but I just wanted to add a little update. Ever since Meko's runny eye incident, it hasn't happened again.
She has gotten BIG and she is very healthy. Here is a NEW picture:
Thank you to everyone that shared their experiences, and advice! It was greatly appreciated. :)
Too funny. My cat Mew pees in the front, and poops in the back as well!! My kitten Meko on the other hand goes wherever. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the style of litter box they use though. Mew uses a hooded litter box while Meko has an uncovered sifting litter box.
Okay, it's been 2 weeks since we adopted our little girl Meko and our resident cat Mew is still quite cranky. I just want to know if her behaviour at this point is considered normal because she is transitioning as well.
Mew still hisses at Meko, and sometimes growls. Meko tries to play with...
After finding this thread, I tried hissing at my kitten (who was getting into cords at the time). It was super EFFECTIVE. I feel silly hissing but hey, if it works then sign me up.
I didn't like this litter at all! My cat didn't mind it but I couldn't stand the odor. It didn't matter how many times I would scoop, the smell made me feel sick to my stomach. This was the Blue Buffalo Naturally Fresh Multi Cat formula.
I've had better success with Maxx Scoop Small Spaces...
Too funny. My oldest cat Mew will just stare at me while I clean her litter box and christen it afterwards. My kitten Meko will try to play with the scoop and used litter! She's a playful one. :)
What type of bowls are you using for food and water?
I had a friend whose dog was VERY sensitive to anything other than stainless steel. Once she made the switch to stainless steel, the rash disappeared!
