My old cat who passed away a few years ago was ticked tabby. I remember his vet saying he looked like he could be mixed with Abyssinian. I've been to a lot of shelters/pet stores and seen a lot of cats in general but I never see ticked tabbies. Ever. Why don't I ever see them? Are they rare?

I'm not I big cat expert but the first parent looks more like a (Siamese/other oriental breed) than a ragdoll. But you never know.

He looks like a Siamese mix or a domestic colorpoint, but he definitely has some siamese in him.
