It's not playing, but Jinx chases the new cat away. She is scared and wants her gone. She never follows up with an attack though. It is more like a fly-by, chase the new cat under the bed and then run away as fast as she can.

Am struggling with two cats who don't get along. I am currently using a Comfort Zone Pheromone Collar for each cat, and a Thunderease Multicat Calming Diffuser. Anyone have a recommendation for a product that really worked for them?

I am having almost the exact same issue as you are. But in my case it is the resident cat who is defending her territory. We have the new cat in a guest room with a baby gate, but whenever she comes close to the gate, resident cat comes running up to it to scare her away. They do eat together...

Thanks for everyone's advice. There is not a whole lot of progress, but I am able to move their feeding bowls closer and closer. It is good that they are both hungry hippos! Hopefully this will merge into more positive experiences.
