Yeah she seems to be walking okay after the drugs they used for the spaying wore off. Yeah I will have to tell them next time. They didn't ask me before hand and every other vet I had before(before moving to where I currently live)had been way more gentle when trimming

Thank you. I got her back earlier today and she has been resting and I didnt check her claws earlier. I saw them not to long ago and it scared me a bit. I am glad to hear that she should be okay. I am not a fan of what they did and will try to prevent it from happening again.

So I tried multiple things to take care of my cats' teeth but recently I just decided to start brushing their teeth. I was surprised they let me, they do think it is weird though. Is it okay to just brush their teeth with a damp toothbrush or is the feline toothpaste required?

My female cat is sitting on my shoulder, kneeding my hair and purring while she curls her body around me. My male cat is sunning himself in the window.

I am aware that it isn't fun for him. He tried to cuddle her and groom her and play like he usually does but she been acting different because she is in heat and he doesn't know or understand why.

Just to be clear I know that spaying is the only way to stop it. When I say calm her down I mean make her more comfortable, etc.

She is fed canned food except for one meal which is dry food. Most of the belly was after eating the dry. I will be taking her to the vet soon so I will have that checked. I don't think she has worms but I won't rule out the possibility.
