They are better about describing texture but photos would still be very helpful (like what does "light gravy" look live vs "sauce" or "gravy"). My mom's cat is so fussy and won't go near pate even if the photo appears to look more like ground meat. She is not a gravy lover, but sometimes will...
Can you give me an example of a good canned to mix with raw?
We are just starting with a 4month old kitten who was raised on raw. Came to my mom from the breeder 1 week ago.
We were given 1 pound of raw beef/chicken mix. She went off that in 2 days - wouldn't eat it. So I ran out to try...
My mom just a week ago got a new Bengal kitten. She's been on Clamavox since the breeder took her to be spayed. She was delivered a week ago with the remaining antibiotics, instructed to give 2ce a day.
There are maybe 2-3 doses left in the bottle. I don't live with my mom, but have been...
Both cats are nearly 14 years old; she's had them from kittens. I agree, and they both used to eat more dry but with fewer teeth I guess it is difficult. One does not eat dry.
The vet just checked them out this past week and only noted a bladder infection in the female.
The female is more...
My mother has 2 incredibly finicky bengals ...
They were raised on home-cooked FISH (at the breeder's recommendation), raw beef and dry food.
She cooks (poaches) mahi-mahi and albacore tuna steaks for them. Sometime sushi grade ahi.
They used to eat wahoo, but don't touch most other fish...
@KathyV my mother has 2 incredibly finicky bengals and they eat the canned (human) chicken, too!
Cooked, fresh chicken is pretty much a no-go though.

I am already living with this cat for over a week now - we found him in the garage of our building around Christmas. We had him neutered, flea'd, shots and continued caring for him for a few weeks outside.
Meanwhile, I went to see an allergist who gave me instructions to get a saliva and...
@khy-sa I completely understand and appreciate the encouragement. I'm so happy for you that you've beaten the allergies and I admit I have been debating the choice with great emotion.
But I had 2 cats about 20 years ago and did the whole weekly shot thing, lived on an inhaler, etc. etc. but...
Just realized I had not stopped by with an update - and I have been reading so many wonderful stories here for these past couple of weeks.
We were still on the fence, caring for our kitty in the garage - until a neighbor complained that the cat hair on top of her car had left her unable to...
Thank you, Norachan!
This kitty is so beautiful and so sweet ... we are crazy in love with him. Several neighbors have said they are interested, but we don't really know them. We so wanted it to be someone we could visit regularly.
My husband has worked his butt off cleaning the place and...
Thanks, @Ondine!
We already took him to the vet the 2nd day, and had him neutered, chipped and etc. The only thing they couldn't check was fecal tests... so if we do get him in here, we can bring a stool sample over for testing.
