have been up for three hours. Its now 1am and I travel the Cat Site and share Grey Boy's journey. What a truly beautiful cat. You did a supreme job on his care and devotion to him. as you said in one of your posts he must have hit by some kind of farm impalement. Looking I saw the waterbed don't they just love We had one and Mumma cat would take all her kittens up there. They love warmth and heat. They apparently need the heat, I have seen our boy on the car bonnet in 1 degree heat you couldn't put you hand on the metal but our cat sleept on regardless.

What a lucky cat to have found someone so caring, many people would have either ignored him altogether or had him put down. He looks great after going through something so horrific, but his weight is not good, especially on those broken bones when the weather gets cold or rain comes. My bones hurt just thinking about it. But I am glad to see him looking happy and well adjusted to his new, safer life.

Turning a feral is rewarding on its own, saving an injured feral is that much more. Our first save, Gimpy, came to us as a kitten, with a broken front left leg. Nothing like what Grey Boy went through, but her love started it all for us. She passed this past Christmas from acute kidney failure, and or hearts will always be broken over her loss, she really mean everything to us.

Anyway, thanks for sharing the journey and for all that you do for strays, they are fortunate to be in your vicinity. Sincerely, the kittykeepers.
