I did order my Chinese yesterday,I am wild for Chinese food and could eat it every single day( for as far back as I can remember) my Dad used to say " You sure this kid is Italian & we didn't take a Chinese baby home?"lol

So it's 6:45am and I'm having Chicken Chow Mein for breakfast!-Lunch & dinner to be determined but it is definitely,YAY -Chinese!!!!🥠🥡🍤

SOUNDS GREAT!-I grew up not far from Chinatown NYC- well,Manhattan is only one mile by three, lol My parents used to be good friends with a couple who owned a Chinese restaurant and they'd babysit me at the restaurant along with their 3 kids,we'd all fold the wontons, egg rolls ,dumplings and other stuff in a booth to keep us busy but I mostly hung around the Dad who taught me how to cook when I was old enough......I'll take Chinese over Italian anytime!

A friend came over to help sort out my computer issues getting the newer version of Arachnophilia installed on my Windows 10 computer. Which, BTW, looks very different from the older version on my Windows 7 computer.

So I made a midday dinner for the three of us.

Hamburger on a lightly toasted roll, ketchup and thinly sliced red onion to add as each diner preferred. Three bean salad - red beans, chickpeas, green beans, dices sweet red pepper, diced red onion, dressed with Ken's country French salad dressing. Salad of corn cut off the cob, diced avocado, diced Campari tomatoes, sliced cilantro, lime juice whisked with EVOO

A certain someone...ahem!....overheard me discussing pancakes the other evening,so guess what we had for dinner! They were buttermilk pancakes, and I fixed some bacon to go with.
lizzie lizzie "A certain someone" heard us talking about blueberries and pancakes the other night, didn't he?

Remember I was going to have KFC on Saturday because Rick wasn't home? Well, my KFC turned into a bag of kettle korn microwave popcorn. I pretty much forgot about dinner until around 7:00 or so and then I didn't feel like going anywhere. And I don't do delivery services, other than the pizza delivery weenie. Popcorn it was. Molli was happy that I shared a couple fluffies with her.

Sunday I made a tuna pasta salad with garlic-parm rolls. I had told Rick that he could have the salad or he could have tuna salad sandwiches. He chose the tuna pasta salad. Oh, and he brought an ear of corn down from the garden again to try, so I made that for him.

Tonight will be flatbread pizzas. Pepperoni, caramelized onion, and peppers with mozz. We usually have two flatbreads each, done in the NFG.

yep he sure did!I'm glad he didn't ask for blueberries though!Even though I'm not a big fan of pancakes,I have to say these were really good.I stand by Fannie's recipe every time!
