rubysmama rubysmama , you reminded me to look up Gracie's Gotcha Day. It was yesterday, Nov. 13th 2019!
So here is her portrait.
She is 15 years old.
She's continuing to decline with HyperT, CKD, arthritis and HTN. So I'm grateful for having had one more Gotcha, another trip around the sun.
She still rules with a velvet paw, though!

You never know. :crackup:(For anyone not getting the reference, look up Randy Newman's "Short People," on YouTube or elsewhere. I've already posted it here at TCS. A great, great song about prejudice, made extremely entertaining and amusing, with an important life lesson.)

Jcatbird Jcatbird I love, love, love the pics of Bon Jour, aka Bonnie, on a catnip high. :dizzycat:

November must be Gotcha Day month since today is Carleton's Gotcha Day too! It's hard to believe 7 years ago today we rescued him from the shelter but we're not sure how old he is since he was in such bad shape when we adopted him. The vet's best guess is 12 years old but gave us a 3 year window. Here's a pic of him with his favorite wand toy.

Mamanyt1953 Mamanyt1953 I am guessing you may be on pretty soon and wanted to check in on you. I saw that amazing modular unit!! I could live in that cat tree myself!! I love that!! The cost is rough but I imagine a lot of time goes into each piece. Does it come with a squirrel?!lol The tree looks so natural along the trunk!!You might have to put a sandbox at the bottom somewhere! Tell me though, would the Keebler elves be upset about being evicted? I think Hekitty might stalk them if they stay. 😁

Yeah, something like that happened a few years back, when they ended up having to move the game to, I believe, Detroit, because the area around the stadium was similarly dumped on. According to the forecast, however, we will miss out as the main blast is to the south of us, and lake effect snowfalls tend to be rather narrow, but, where it hits, intense. Besides, I really don't care about football anyway.
