We didn't get around to lunch until late this afternoon so dinner was nothing more than a hot dog with onions and relish.I did make a lemon cream cheese bundt cake today so I'd say a slice of that will be dessert.
Prayers for a great outcome in surgery.Today I made tuna and macaroni salad, 3-bean salad, coleslaw. Were these our dinner? Not at all. He went out for a mushroom and black olive pizza. So what about the salads? They're for meals after mys knee replacement surgery tomorrow.

Kale is a bit denser than other lettuces, somewhat like its cousin cabbage, which is why I tend to cut it fairly small. Some folks find kale to be a bit bitter, though I personally think it’s less bitter than arugula, which tastes like dandelion to me. I do like the texture of kales ruffled edges when mixed in my salads. I believe Costco even uses it in their deli quinoa. I had a friend who tossed it with olive oil, seasoned, and roasted it for a crunchy snack.What does Kale taste like? Yum, that sounds delicious. I go to a vegan Korean restaurant that makes a stew which is really more like a soup. It has miso, tons of veggies, tofu, seaweed and dumplings.felt like korean food so we took a drive to closest korean market to buy the stuff to make a spicy tofu soup

Well if I was a meat eater I would like spam because I love tofu. It's low in calories and high in calcium and protein. It's the other white meat. Sixty years ago when I ate meat I had spam and I don't rememberI have tried and tried to convince myself to like tofu, with notable lack of success. Near as I can tell, God invented tofu so vegetarians know what it's like to eat Spam.
