she cant be trusted to not chew wires messwith/knock over the gf's stuff jewelry box etc womans stuff that goes on the dresser
Understood. The cat in my avatar has a wire fetish also. She went through four HDMI cables. the vacuum cord, fan cord and all other cords left unattended before I found the solution. I wrap my wires in wiring harness. It's the coating that the wires in your car are encased in. Plastic with a slit in it, just slip the wires inside. Get it at the auto parts store. A little expensive (here, it's $1 a foot) but she doesn't like the crunch and hasn't touched a wire since.

I got what was literally the last box of cat food in Walmart today. Special Kitty 3oz kitten formula because it was all they had. Ok. That will feed my four for 3 meals. It's a wasteland out here. Chewy finally has a lot of the bigger Friskies boxes in stock. I need to adjust my autoship in the morning and hit Send.

No preference. The only white cable I have is to my surge protector and I have something over it, so she leaves it alone. But I've noticed her eyeing it. Spraying wires with Bitter Apple seems to work for a short while, but not as good as the wiring harness.
Bitter Apple sprayed (drowned) every two weeks in my engine does keep the mice from chewing though.

I would do it - or check Amazon. I ordered from them after my auto ship from Chewy was out of stock. Not only did they carry what I needed but they delivered it in four days.

Hekitty had her Senior Wellness checkup yesterday. We're still waiting on blood work to come back, but everything looks pretty good, other than her arthritis, AND HER CLAWS ARE CLIPPED! Not, however, before she raked four long scratches on my stomach. BOTH hind feet, in a wild escape attempt. LOL, with all the blood thinners I take, I almost thought I'd have to call 911 to have the bleeding stopped. My shirt was a mess. However, I managed to fold some thick gauze pads, and Jazzie came over and wrapped my middle with several Ace bandages. Took four hours, but the bleeding stopped!

Best of all, I found out that my vet's office has an online pharmacy that can compound meds transdermally for me! As soon as Hek's blood work is back, Dr. Trasky will call in a prescription for her arthritis.

My health anxiety is spiking again, so I'm hoping to get that under control. It's supposed to be nice this weekend, especially tomorrow, so hoping that some outdoors time will beneficial.

It's been cold, really cold, and I don't normally mind the cold but my pup has arthritis and the cold really seems to aggravate it terribly. He's not very old, either, so I feel badly for him.

I wrote down my resolutions! Here's to actually sticking them them, haha.

So, J's allergy testing (I don't remember what thread I mentioned that in) all came back negative. Obviously, this is good news because who wants to have to deal with an epi-pen and potential anaphylaxis and reading labels forever. From what I understand with blood tests false positives happen fairly regularly, but negatives are pretty accurate.

This is also bad news because I'm not sure why she had that reaction after having the salmon. I feel like I need to give her fish again, but am scared to. I suppose it could be an intolerance like the dairy is. We'll see, but if I could add fish back into my diet it would open up so much.
