Are you taking the seeds out? It might be okay. But with the seeds left in, they are fiery! Love them.

I am having cheese & spinach manicotti from Aldi. But I have to supply my own pasta sauce, the cheapskates! Also it says to put shredded cheese on top, which they also didn't supply. Bake in oven at 400 degrees for 35 minutes. It looks like at least 2 servings, but I might eat both since I am skipping lunch. Might put some hot sauce on top. Might add some salt and pepper, all depends how it tastes.

Mamany1953: It's so good to have you back. I have a walker just like yours and it really helped me out before I got stuck using a wheel chair. You have so much love you will make out fine.
Thank you, darilin! Should I end up needing a chair, my insurance will pay for an electric mobiltiy chair, which would be great!

Maybe I'll use one and then decide if I need the other one.
By all means, one at a time, and de-seeded! You can always add a touch more, but it's impossible to fish them back out!

Dang it, I'll be sleeping nights until all the home heath stuff is done, so the ferals are being fed by my neighbors, and I'm living a daytime schedule! Lunch today will be half a P'zone from Pizza Hut, and dinner tonight will be half a sub from Big Apple Pizza. Not the best diet in the world, but I won't starve before my meals are delivered!

I did de-seed a small gumball sized habanero. It gave the dish a nice spicy kick but not 🤯 Not sure what I'll do with the other one which more cherry tomato size.

M maggiedemi this vegetarian stir fry looks easy enough to make: Stir-Fry with Mushrooms and Spinach | Savory It calls for a specific brand and type of microwavable rice but you can use any brand / type you have at the local stores like maybe Uncle Ben's or cook rice from scratch. The picture in the hard magazine copy I have suggests the Beyond Beef brand of plant-based "meat".

Sometimes I leave the seeds in & just use a little piece of the habanero, that way they go farther. I like the taste of the heat with the seeds.

Thanks, that looks really good. I never did that part where they take the veggies out of the pan, then put back in again at the end. That's interesting.

I made that manicotti last night. It was really good, but the cheese burnt off the top. I used the toaster oven instead of oven, at 400 degrees for 35 minutes, so maybe I should have turned the heat down to 375? Or maybe lowered the rack? I guess I'll just have to keep experimenting.

Tonight will probably be that Aldi cheese calzone baked in the toaster oven. Have to heat up my own pasta sauce, cause there is none in it.

Typical stir fry veggies, cut into small pieces if needed, cook really quickly in a hot pan so that's why they're taken out after a few minutes of cooking time. Then they're added back in at the end to heat back up for a minute and then the whole thing is dished up and served.

My husband bought the Aldi Philly Cheese Steak Calzone. He's never had it before and thought he'd give it a try. That's a great idea to put pasta sauce on it, I'll let him know.

We found a new Cantonese restaurant so we'll be doing take out for dinner tonight. We've heard so many good reviews from friends and hopefully we'll like it too.

More left-overs tonight. I have enough for today and tomorrow. Food shipment has not come in, however, if it does not, I can fall back on my instacart that my son set up for me. And I have several microwave dinners here, come to think of it. Not the healthiest, but will keep body and soul together.

I'm finding that this stroke has re-set something in me. I haven't been able to eat breakfast in 40 years, and suddenly I wake up ready for a cup of coffee and a bowl of cereal. I'm also eating about 1/3 of what I used to eat! This may be good for me!

Dinner was excellent and they were very generous with the portions. I had garden vegetables with tofu and my husband had mongolian beef. Both DH and I will have leftovers this week.

The last 2 nights I just had canned baked beans and oatmeal brown bread.

Not sure about tonight, but I bought some more Dave's Killer Bread, so at some point this week, I'm making either egg salad sandwiches, or chickpea salad sandwiches. Maybe even both, as they're quick meals to make in advance for days that I end up gardening too late to make dinner.

Maybe steak sauce for the steak one. A1 is the best.

I'm cheap, so I prefer smaller portions for cheap. But maybe I need to just go with it & have leftovers for several nights.

I'll try again, I hope they give me the multi grain one this time, instead of white bread. I'll put No Substitutes.

I didn't have that Aldi cheese calzone last night, so I'll probably have it tonight for dinner with some Ragu pasta sauce, Huy Fong Sambal Oelek hot sauce, salt, pepper.

Tonight a dear, precious friend is ordering deliver for me. A barbeque brisket plate with potato salad and cole slaw! YUM! And the plates are generous enough that I can have leftovers for lunch tomorrow!

STILL waiting on my microwaveable meals to be delivered, and of course, the office isn't open today to check on the status. I'll call them tomorrow.
