One of my sister‘s daughters nearly has her first child in the car on the way to the hospital.
A co-worker went into labor, hopped in the car with her husband...and he ended up delivering the baby in the car outside of the doors into ER! It was about a 25-minute drive to the hospital, and she didn’t mess around at home either. Baby was ready RIGHT THEN. He called me as I was walking into the office and said, “Uh, she won’t be in today. I had to deliver the baby in the car.” WHAAAAATTTT? (He’s a stockbroker.) She was fine, baby was fine. The hospital later tried to charge them for the delivery! Uh, no.

That was a wonderful idea for your husband to take that pic last night. I absolutely love it, it's almost like a silhouette. I had no idea your hair was so long. What a marvelous way to celebrate Christmas Eve. ✨
The idea was a silhouette but we couldn't get the lighting just right. Still really happy with how the picture turned out.

Lol, I do keep my hair long, but I also haven't gotten it cut since summer of 2019 due to the pandemic!

You need to frame that picture!! :redheartpump:

My water broke with DD long after I got to the hospital. DS kept my OBGYN up all night. They broke my water for me and in a few minutes he was ready. I’ve had friends who have slow leaks and the opposite. We’ve always kept good mattresses protectors on all our beds. The review that sold me on our current one was from a guy whose wife unexpectedly delivered in bed. He was prepared to throw out the whole bed but it was perfectly fine! Birth and afterbirth is messy. I know some ladies recommended depends; but I couldn’t move well enough for that. lol

I don’t know if you got the same storm we had here but the pressure changed so fast my ears popped. I was thinking that might have hurried some babies along!
