I've just started "The Wicked Day," the next-to-last book in the Arthurian Saga. After that, I'm on to the only one I haven't read yet, "The Prince and the Pilgrim." It actually takes place earlier in the series but was the last one written, I think.

Right now I'm reading the latest Kate Benedict "aura" mystery by Carrie Bedford:

The Trouble at Turtle Beach

I really don't know why Goodreads has this series listed as "cozy mysteries", since the locales and characters, with the exception of the protagonist and her boyfriend, are different in all six books.

Cozies can be in different locales. The thing that makes it a cozy is the lack of explicit sex, lack of four-letter words, and the lack of loving descriptions of gore. MOST cozies are in one locale, but that isn't one of the actual earmarks of the genre.

Though that description could apply to most spy novels and many police procedurals. It's
"elastic". This particular series might fit in the " paranormal " category, too.

After having 3 books to read one after the other, before my library loan expired, I now find myself looking for something to read. The last one I finished was A Christmas Carol, which being just a novella, only took 2 days.

Have you read the Charles Lenox series by Charles Finch? They’re mysteries set in England in the mid 1800s. Quite good.

I haven't, and they sound interesting. Unfortunately, just checked and my library only has book # 13 in e-book form. :(
If you’re like me and generally prefer reading series in order, in this case you might not mind. Book #13 is actually the third of three prequels but could be read as a stand-alone. So books 1-12 are Lenox in his 40s, and the three prequels, which were written last, are him in his 20s when he’s just starting out. I just finished the prequels having read 1-12 a couple of years ago.

My library has them all. Wish I could share.:(
