A few months ago on this board we somehow got into a discussion of pricey electronic toilet seats/bidets that have heated seats, do a rinse and dry etc. I was in the midst of my bathroom reno at the time but checked them out online and said that I really might consider adding one in the future when I could afford it. Today I made my usual trip to the Goodwill and there it is, new in box, a smart toilet seat with all the features including remote control. It was priced at $9.99 but I had a half off coupon so I spent $5.37 for it. The packing slip in the box said it was sold on Amazon for $235 plus tax and from a little bit of wrapping paper stuck to the box I am guessing it was a unappreciated Christmas gift. Now I just need to unpack it and figure out how to install it.

Holy cow! What a deal!!! You'll have to let us know how you like it.

What happened to your leg?
I thought I was just achy from my surgery, but my right leg never stopped throbbing. I wonder if I snapped something in my leg when I snapped my stomach. I'll have to tell my doctor if it doesn't stop hurting. But it is feeling a little better.

My positive is we got some fresh asparagus. It is so much better than that canned mushy stuff.

Mine are BearPaw. I couldn't afford Uggs, although they have a better rating My friend who lives in Oz, sent me 2 pairs of slippers 5 years ago and the one pair is still in great shape. I have the new boots on now because it's so cold in here.

My husband gets me.
Ha! I love it.

It has been unusually cold the past 3 nights. Demi stole my blanket last night. :rolleyes3:

We ran out of wood, so we switched to the oil furnace. But the positive is that I can now wear my pretty long sleeve shirts! I couldn't wear them with the wood heat because it gets too hot in here.

Mine are Bear Paws too. Ankle high, suede on outside, sheep’s wool on inside. Had them now maybe ten years but they look just as good inside and outside as they did when I bought them. We have those days here like last weekend where temps are below zero and your feet just get too cold in shoes. They are perfect because they are so warm but not heavy.

Wowza!! That's good to know. I have a pair of Timberland hiking boots that I bought in 1994. We spent a few days in Yosemite on our honeymoon. I didn't break them in and had blisters, ouch, ha!! They still sell the same style and mine are in pretty good shape expect for the cat scratches.

A friend sent me an Etsy gift card for Valentine's Day
I bought a hot sauce and a jelly once on Etsy. I haven't been on the site in ages.

My positive for today is I think the weather is good enough today to pick up my Walmart order of vanilla latte & peppermint hot cocoa. I should have just got it shipped to the house, but I didn't want to spend $35 to get free shipping. ☕

I just watched the beginning ceremony for the Daytona 500 race on television.

The local school choir did a great job, the prayer was very nice, the person who sang the National Anthem did an absolutely superb rendition, and the jets flying over - well, those are mindblowing, as always.

The entire thing was terrific!! :clap2::wavey::woo:
