For all my friends here, ,we can long debate over the behavior of aanimals but I think it still comes back to us. I do love that everyone here cares passionately. That is what helps to save lives.
The thing about different breeds of any kind that are altered by humans is that humans should not interfere with nature. Over breeding or inbreeding in any living thing causes problems. Altering a breed as well. Mistreatment too. Plants as well as animals. We can not control everything. Very sad all the way around because everyone pays the price. Would we approve of breeding humans for certain traits? Yet we do it with animals and plants and hope for only good things. Humans do not always see the consequences of their actions before harm occurs. Plants are now genetically modified. Plant a vegetable garden and hope for seeds for next year? If so, you better check to see if they can produce seeds.
I think all here agree on Love, kindness and respect for nature. If we could do those things as a race,I think the rest would pretty much take care of itself.
tarasgirl06 The catbird is known for mewing. It does make me think there is some symbiotic relationship. Very cool. Birds calling cats!
jefferd18 Some if my first kitties were Siamese too. They played with me but also loved my Dad’s dog. My mother used to tell a story about them. One dayMother was trimming the roses outside when the mailman was approaching the house. Just as he did, our heavy front door swung open with a Siamese cat hanging from the latch. As he held the door open, the setter walked out, escorted by the other Siamese. Once those two were out the Siamese that opened the door followed them and turned around to pull the door closed. The mailman turned to my Mither with a surprised expression and asked, “ Lady, does your cat always open the door for your dog?” Mother just smiled and replied,”Yes, doesn’t yours?”
Smile time! Today I spotted the rarest of birds! It’s a Calico Catbird!
Mew!
Look! I can see the sun setting from up here!
Okay, I’m back in my nest now!
I’m in a nest? You said these were new beds!
Mom! Quit messing with Banjo. No plastic birds and no plastic nests!
I’m going for the pillow.
You can have a nest Mom.
I’m sleeping on Mom!
Oh my! We have a burrowing creature too!
I see part of it now!
Yes, burrowing.
Put the top back please!
Lol. Leave it to Muffin to find the quietest spot in the house. I won’t be sticking any bare feet under there!
Have a great night everyone!
