Mia6 Mia6 I have made Ina's Coconut Cake and it is, indeed, wonderful! I've also made her Coconut Cupcakes and.....yum! But I think the best white coconut cake is from America's Test Kitchen. It calls for cream of coconut in the cake and also in the frosting. When I make it, I will toast some of the coconut, so the outside of the cake is a mix of white and toasted coconut. And I always put coconut on top of the frosting before putting the second layer on.

Aw, man....I love a good white coconut cake!

Kat0121 Kat0121 I'd gladly help you eat that chocolate mousse cake! Really. It's no trouble at all!

Cheeeeese, Grommet!

Last year (2018) I lost 25 lbs with diet and exercise. Then I fell into a long funk this year and gained about half of it back.
I have been trying to get back on track with my food intake, and one of the first casualties was cheese. :bawling:

I love cheese.
I could seriously eat a half brick of Tillamook cheddar in a week.
If only I had someone who would eat some of that cheese... Oh wait, I do, but he doesn't! :angrywoman:
I know I can have some cheese, I just have to get back to controlling those portions.
That's a tall order for me...

So I'm craving cheese. Any kind of cheese, please! 🧀

I really want three tacos right now. I don't care if they're a hard or soft shell, I just want tacos. They should have the usual toppings - lettuce, tomato, cheese, sour cream and a little salsa. I feel like I'm forgetting something.

I'm craving Ken Stewart's, (a restaurant near me), seafood platter; it's huge lobster, Alaskan King crab legs, crab cakes, scallops, shrimp.I haven't had it in years and there is no way I could afford it now ($75.00) but I'm still craving it. His French dressing is amazing,
a white dressing.

Also a steak dinner from Hyde Park. There was one near my house when I lived in Columbus and there are several here. I'm craving
filet mignon, their special potatoes made with Gruyere cheese, white wine and I don't know what else, lobster bisque. and creme
brulee topped with strawberry, raspberries, and blueberries.

What are the hash browns like? Are they one big solid thing, or little nuggets, or shreds?

They are little rounds. They aren't greasy like some others and they have a really good seasoning on them.
