TyWhatever the case may be, he is ADORABLE, and very photogenic!! Such a sweetie!
Thank you for your helpIf the mother cat was for sure 100% Ragdoll than you know his baby is part. That is all you know and more accurately without papers it is a Domestic Longhair. The father "may have lynx Siamese in it" tells me whoever told you that has no idea and is guessing off of looks. Color pointed doesn't automatically mean Siamese. lynx is the color and means little. Most cats have no specific breed ancestry and are just Domestic so that is almost guaranteed what the father was.
TySigh...……….sigh again...............is it possible for a creature to be any cuter?
As for the question, well, half Ragdoll then. Seriously, do you know who the dad is.
Thank you!Wait to see if you hear from lutece . I consider this member to be the 'resident' expert. From all that I have read of @lutec's responses to colorings/breeds/etc. I trust the comments/remarks provided!
He is so perfectly adorable. What a sweet face.He is very docile and sweet. I am usually highly allergic to kittens but not him. He wants to be with us all the time. He is a kitten so not sure if that’s every kitten.
Thank youOh boy, talk about gorgeous, what a cute kitten. I want him!
I agree that without certainty about the dad and breed papers you have a Domestic cat. Not sure if his fur is long or medium but likely still kitten coat so change ongoing. Lovely pale ginger and white.
It sounds like he has some of his mum's ragdoll purrsonality if he likes to be with you all the time. Don't worry if he's every bit as bouncy and energetic as most kittens and young cats when you're not handling him- that is perfectly normal for Ragdolls.
I asked and the woman said mom is full Ragdoll and dad is lynx point Siamese. He was 6 weeks when we got him. I do not know much about kittens but he had a brother I could not take. I paid her a rehoming fee. I really wanted to learn more about him. I am usually highly allergic to most cats but I am not to him which is strange. He is a cute kitten, but he looks very young. How old is he? Was there a reason that he had to leave his mother and litter mates so early?
What color is the mother of the kitten?
And when you say that the father looked like a Siamese, do you mean his color, or his head and body shape?
The reason I ask about the color of the parents is that this kitten appears to be cream and white in color. He is not a pointed kitten. Since the colorpoint gene is recessive, if mom is indeed a Ragdoll (which is a pointed cat), dad could not be pointed in color ("Siamese" coloring). One of the parents must be non-pointed.
Thank you

That is his brother if it helps. The mom looked to have similar colors to my kitten.
