I've been changing some habits lately; so I'm thinking on my breakfast choices this morning.

What did you have for breakfast today?

Today it's a bowl of fat free Greek yogurt with a serving of granola that has freeze dried berries in it. It was tasty! And it had a lot of protein. :yummy:

Nothing yet, I got up late. My go-to breakfast is a protein smoothie with frozen fruit or a banana in it, and a piece of whole grain toast with ricotta cheese or something like that.

A bow of Lucky Charms cereal and a cup of milk. I do not like my cereal drowning in milk :headshake:

In winter it is porridge with some sliced bananas and blueberries and a drizzle of honey. Summer its usually toast.

Except for when I'm on holiday, I don't have breakfast but if I did it would be a full English breakfast.

Aaron is working from home today and I made a "bigger" breakfast - egg whites with chicken breakfast sausage and a little cheese in a whole wheat flax wrap.

I had two slices of rye bread toast.

I like bacon and eggs and toast, but I don't think I could handle the beans and grilled tomato with the full English. Not to mention blood pudding. Yuk.

Same breakfast every day for ten plus years, 2/3 of a Nutrigrain bar. Not because I love it but because as a diabetic I need to be careful with carbs, especially morning carbs, and I know I do okay in exactly this amount of them.

Breakfast is probably my favorite meal of the day, can't go without it. Almost every morning I have oatmeal with blueberries, cinnamon, flaxseed and almond milk. Of course, a generous cup of coffee follows. ;)

Since I don't have work today, I had time to have a more "involved" breakfast. So I had cereal instead of a yogurt. :p

I don't eat breakfast. For some reason, if I eat before I've been awake more than 4 hours, I'm nauseous all day.
Technically, after 4 hours it's still breakfast, but I consider it lunch.

This thread is making me very hungry!

I could really go for a good "brinner" now. Sometimes breakfast is so much more tasty at night. Plus first thing in the day I'm not up for making homemade pancakes and hashbrowns and all that. ;)

I like to wait a while to eat too. I don't get nauseous or anything; but it just takes a while to get hungry. Sometimes by then I'd rather just go ahead and have an early lunch instead of breakfast foods.

What is considered "breakfast food" is pure marketing.

Today I slept in (yay for minor federal holidays!) so I had leftover eggplant parmesan for breakfast. And an apple.

Normally I have an apple, a cheese stick, a meat stick, and some nuts. All very portable for going to work :D.

oh well. I had oatmeal - the kind in the little packages with maple and brown sugar, I'm pretty much addicted to that LOL :yummy:

I had a smoked turkey breast sandwich and another half and some fritos and Welch's grape juice. I don't follow the breakfast-has-to-be certain foods thing. Some mornings I'll have salad and bread. I live alone so it's ok.
