My little kittens born yesterday have a fever coat. I've never saw anything like it before! I'm curious, will the little one in the middle be black when it's older? Wish the fur would stay this way. Looks so neat!
I think they'll be dark grey. But who knows! Will be interesting anywayCuteness overload
The two look like they will have black or at least charcoal gray. Thank you for the photos
No not yet. Her belly is shaved because I had to take her to emerg the day the kittens were born. 6 hours after the last came, her belly swelled, pupils dilated and She was panting. They told me to bring them in to make sure another kitten wasn't stuck. Turns out she was eating way too much and her stomach swelledSo precious! And look at mama kitty smiling
Did you little queen get spayed?
I didn't know it was going to be an issue. Everywhere I read said to keep food and water close. So I did. The vet said their digestion slows a lot during delivery, so the food wasn't going through like it should It was quite an experience for the cat. first time having kittens, first time being in a house, then a 45 minute drive to the vet at 10pm. lol. Poor girl!Yikes! I would have though C-section for sure! I have never heard of eating to fast causing those symptoms. I am happy that it was something simple but what a SCARE
Only one has eyes opened so far. And the little kitten in the middle has not gained much the past 2 days. He was one of the biggest, and now he's the smallest. The other 2 push him out of the way at the "bar". With her shaved belly they have only been using 4 nipples. I tried to get them to the other 2 but they've never used them. He only gained 6g in 2 days. They are Over-The-Moon cute!!! And what little plumpsters - you must be feeding Mom right! Congratulations...and the opened eyes
I love kitty beans!Oh my goodness, the close up of those itty bitty paw beans! Too cute!
