Are you superstitious? A little "stitious"? Not "stitious" at all? What sorts of things are you superstious about, if you are?
I guess I am. I don't worry about Friday the 13th (not being a Knight Templar), I adore black cats (although the "bad luck cat" color changes from country to country. If broken mirrors bothered my, I'd have drowned myself long ago...BUT...there is a horse shoe over my door, ends up, for luck, there are actual IRON nails in my windows to keep the faerie out (they're tricksy, not to be trusted), I can't stand to have a cabinet door opened (causes the neighbors to gossip) although Hekitty's cabinet door often is...she could care less about gossip (AND has her own cabinet). I always stir pots on the stove clockwise. I ALWAYS store my broom with the bristles up to keep the virtue from running out, I never sweep toward the front door (sweeps the luck from the house), and the ONLY way I would ever bring an old broom into a new home is through the window, bristles first. I save snippets of sewing thread in pretty jars, and when one is full, tuck it near my front door for prosperity. AND I always put an apple cut in half outside my door when I go to bed on Halloween night. That's to feed wandering spirits and make them desposed to being kindly toward you. LOL, I really, REALLY don't believe that one, but I by George do it anyway! My Gran would have a fit if I didn't!
GOOD GRIEF! I may actually be "hyperstitious!"
