As you can tell, I have a specific spot I used to do my outdoor shots - a stone bench in my garden. I stopped doing outdoor photography with the cats when I had Solidago out one day and a large shadow flew overhead. I looked up and it was a HUGE bald eagle about 15-20 feet overhead. I stopped and took the cat inside and we haven't taken photos outside since.

posiepurrs posiepurrs - these are fabulous, and wow, is Maggie ever adorable!

Maggie is a challenge. She DOES NOT like to be groomed and I come away bloody every time. She was the first kitten born here and her mother neglected her. I fed her around the clock for the first week, every 2 hours, until the maternal hormones kicked in and mom took over. We kept her because she was so difficult to groom. I was afraid a pet person would not put up with her and she would end up in a shelter, or worse. I keep her shaved down now since it is easier for everyone. I honestly think she is not all there mentally - she is a touch me not cat, unless it is her idea. I don't care, we love her as she lets us.

While technically its not an outdoor picture, they are preparing to go outside.

Greg and arnold have new harnesses.

The harnesses are sized for a dogs small, but they fit my boys well, keep them from slipping out, without me having to tighten the harnesses too much (unlike the light weight nylon strap harnesses).

The harnesses do make Greg and Arnold look like hanibal lecter being transported by the US department of justice. But what the heck, the harnesses only cost 10 bucks instead of the normal 30 bucks plus, the boys seem ok with them and they havent escaped.......yet.

Honeybee on my lap, music playing in background
An older picture of Honeybee. This was 2013. Just got her a couple months ago.

This is her stone. She rubs against it as much as she can. Not sure why...ever since I brought it home she's been rubbing against it in glee.

This is just about the only, "outdoor," photo I have - an ancient Polaroid, taken in the early Autumn of 1984, of Katina, on the afternoon that she came in to her Forever Home, having doubtless lived outside for several years. She was the first "adult Life" cat of my own, and I Loved her as though she were the only cat in the world. The photograph is terrible, but the memory of the moment is cherished in a fashion which words cannot express.
