Hello everyone,

I’m fairly new to this site been a member since June. I have enjoyed this place very much.

I wanted to make a thread to get to know all the cats and cat parents in this site all in one place. I searched to see if there was a thread like this and I didn’t see anything. So please post a brief description of yourself and your cat/cats.

My name is Rocio I have 1 kitty her name is Korin she is currently about 6 months old. I believe she is a Lynx point Siamese, and here is a current favorite picture of her.

Korinmewmew Korinmewmew - Welcome to TCS, to both you and to Korin, Rocio! Unfortunately, I'm three thousand miles too far away from you to be able to come over and steal borrow your gorgeous Lilac Lynx Point. I'm Joe, in Olcott Beach, New York, on Lake Ontario's south shore. Eleven cats share their 179 year old home with me - ten of whom are pictured below - Bob and White Tip on top, Oz and Puff in the second row, Peanut and Lance in the middle row, Scottiecat and Moo Shu Snowshoe in the penultimate row, and Friday and her Daughter, Clawed-Ya at the bottom:

Kitty number eleven - Miró - a tiny Spotted Silver Tabby who I suspect has Mau ancestry - is a stray who simply showed up a few weeks ago, and who has only very recently come in to be with her new Family.

Do please keep posting photos of Korin - she's an altogether stunning girl!

Korinmewmew Korinmewmew You have a real beauty there, gorgeous eyes and colour. I'm Phil and live in sunny Burnley in the UK. It's never been known to rain here. This is my little tribe. I can fit them in as 1CatOverTheLine 1CatOverTheLine has just about left enough space on the thread for me to do so. Eleven!

Oliver, a ten year old, very small Maine Coon. He's my hero. I just wish he'd start putting on some size as MC's are supposed to. As I write this he's just sat on my chest to make it difficult. Did I say he's my hero?

Chubchub a little boy about ten months now and at least- part Siberian. He likes scratching EVERY object in sight. He's a bit feisty.

And moggie Betty who is a little darling and just gets on with being a typical cat, doing cat things.

Hi, Rocío, I am Alejandra, but most people calls me Álex. I have three cats atghe momment, though next year I hope to find a suitable partner for Freya.
IMG_20170830_041056.jpg

This is Raistlin. He is nine years old, a handsome red haired, in my opinion. He is a Persian X, so he likes sleeping, awakening me while I am sleeping and vomiting hairballs.
IMG_20170921_123410.jpg

This is Bichisoise, a big Siamese look alike. He loves talking, hunting birds and rodents, and pretending that he is a Ragdoll while being carriles arround.
IMG_20170912_120849.jpg

This is Freya. She is an almost 7 months old bengal cat. If everything goes ok, in about a year and a half she will have her first litter. As you can see, I am a breeder wannabe ;)

1CatOverTheLine 1CatOverTheLine wow 11 cats they are all very beautiful. Especially Moo Shu the snowshoe.

mightyboosh mightyboosh wow Chub chub is a big boy. What a handsome boy. And your other cats super cute.
That "big boy" is actually Phil's Oliver the "tiny" Maine Coon Cat, being held by Phil's lovely Daughter. mightyboosh mightyboosh downplays Oliver's vastness just as I do my sweet little Bob, the Norwegian Forest Cat:

bobaerial.jpg

As to Moo Shu, Korinmewmew Korinmewmew - she looks sweet and innocent, but she's still an evil Snowshoe, obsessed with electronics - she turns on the televisions, radios, CD player, and plays with light switches - opening doors, and turning on the faucets to watch the water.

Alejandra Rico Alejandra Rico - I just adore Bichisoise, Alejandra. Next time you come to America, you must bring Bichisoise with you and stay in the guest house, and leave him with me. P.S. you can leave bring Freya and Raistlin too.

Ceracera Ceracera - Cookie and Duchess are both on my Steal This Cat list just beautiful!

I am afraid that my cara and I are a pack, so we cannot be separated, but I Will let you know if I find any other siamese look-alike litters. By the way, there is a new Cat in the neighbourhood that may change the appeareance of ferals here: I saw a semi-long hair male Maine Coon. If he is not neutered, we can end up having gigantic coulourpoints insome years. I hope his owners had enough common sense to spay him, even though they don't to have him indoors.

Hi I’m living the fast life in central London, UK with my kitten Gracie. She’s just turned one and is the first EVER cat I’ve ever owned. Prior to getting Gracie a year ago when she was a size of a fur ball I thought cats just sat on a wall or window ledge and meowed and purred now and again. Many scratches; bites, crying and many laughs later I’ve realised how wrong I was !!

Honeybee on my lap, music playing in background
Hi all-we have 2 furbabies in my house...

Honeybee and Pumpkin Face. Also on the prowl for a young cat for Honeybee because she torments old Pumps.

Honeybee is 6? Got her in 2013. She was left outside to fend for herself as owner died and family abandoned her is the story they told me but I think it was she was too rambunctious for the elderly lady who was feeding her. Honeybee's owner smoked like a chimney so she came to us with asthma. We got her on inhaled steroids and we have been doing well since March 2013. She is a lover and a fighter. She hisses at me when I bug her too much or pick her up when she's busy sleeping..then lick my hand and purr..so she's all noise and no bite. Too much. She loves to sleep on people, begs for food or treats. Always likes to look pretty..don't mess up her fur!

babygirl.jpg

Pumpkin Face is 14 now. Got her in 2003 as a wee little baby. She has a white tipped tail and very shy. She loves to sleep next to people but never a lapcat unlike Miss Honeybee who loves laps. She loves hunting mice and moles and used to eat them as part of her diet-she spent 10 years in my backyard-she hated it indoors. She would quit eating and sulk..so we gave in and now she's older and only roams on the deck and backyard. She loves to play and puts up with Honeybee chasing her. Every morning I hold Pumps and let Honeybee sniff her and give her a few kitty licks-which Pumps gives me airplane ears in disapproval but slowly she tolerates her better. Honeybee just wants a playmate and Pumps just hisses at her..

Bamboo, Camie, Foxy, Jack, and Mimi. These are a few of my babies. Believe it or not, Foxy, despite not looking like a Persian, is a full sister to Jack (GP RWx2 Posiepurrs Jacaranda), Mimi (CH Posiepurrs Mimosa) and Camie (GC Posiepurrs Camellia). She stayed here as a treasured pet. Bamboo is the sire of these cats.

I have only had 2 cats ever, my first cat her name was Mittens looked so much like your Gracie. But I don’t like to talk about her, makes me sad. Anyway she is a beauty. Here is a couple of pictures of Mittens

Hello Korinmewmew Korinmewmew What a great idea for a thread. :clap2:

Here is HRH Chula looking down her nose at her underling, i.e. me, Margaret.

And here is her brother Paul, the Royal Jester.

I first learned of Paul and Chula when I read a post on TCS saying that they needed a home. It turned out they lived in Baltimore, Maryland which is fairly close to me. Their human brought them over for a visit and they decided to move in that very day.

Here they are again, in their favorite poses:

Hi Korinmewmew Korinmewmew , my name is Karine (no not Korin) and I live in Belgium. Due to safety reasons -one of the TCS members has my cat on his 'to steal' list- I won't disclose the exact location, but the name of the place is very appealing to cats. I have one (rescue) cat, Missy, a lynx point, 2 years old, quite a character; she's not a lap cat, but very sweet, talkative (loud !), playful and semi-outdoor.
I had 3 (female) cats before, Eefje, Lotje and Ciske. Lotje lived with me for more than 20 years. I hope that Missy will stay as long (or even longer) with me.

In case you haven't seen Missy yet...
