It needs terramycin. I have some. I have been wiping it with a warm towel after each feeding and it eeems to be better. That picture of her face is from Friday. The others are today's.
Well between last night and this morning she lost a bit but she seems to be maintaining her weight for now. I'm going to way her again after I finish up with feeding her
How can i get dried formula off her fur? It's stuck on there.... whoever had her until I got her didn't wipe her after feeding. I've tried a warm wipe but it doesn't work. It's all over her face. She should be soft and fluffy!
Good! She should continue to gain now. Is she eating well?
Put terramycin on that eye.
Just keep wiping her fur with a warm, damp cloth for now. As she gets healthier her fur will look better. She can have a bath down the road. Wait a few days.
After a while yes. It takes a minute. She's getting more than she needs since
I'm doing it every hour. So if she absolutely refuses, I don't force it all. I aim for 5cc each
feeding. I don't want to overfeed but this is what it took for her to gain that 1 gram.
That is one big adult roundworm. It had to have been living and breeding in her for some time. I am so glad you got her on wormer medication. She should be feeling much better soon.
I've seen worms do some pretty horrific things to baby animals, every time I see one I totally freak out.
So glad you caught this.
I'm glad too. She is starting to feel better, or I think she is. She must of had them her whole life. So would these cause diarrhea or do you think she also has coccidia?
