He has stopped bleeding again and is not really meowing and turning after I put Kitten music to sleep. I feel like he is stressed out. His breathing is normal and he is warm. I fed him some formula. The other kitten is sleeping also. He looks way better than this little guy. No bleeding from him either.

How much formula did they eat? They will need to eat during the night too.

Have you tried wet food with the kittens yet?

I will try to feed them wet food. And Formula they drank about 2 full small syringe. One drank out of the kitten bottle.

Did the vet give you any kind of ointment to put on the wound? Anything?
I have found in horses and dogs that zinc oxide is worth it's weight in gold. But, I have no idea if you can use this on cats. IndyJones IndyJones , you have experience with wounds.

No Ointment was given to me just antibiotics. It would have been nice to also get some ointment for the cuts too though.

Every antibacterial ointment I found doing a search said don't use it on deep cuts. Zinc oxide is o.k. as long as they don't ingest it. However, at this point, maybe just using a q-tip and applying some betadine to clean it will work well. Be prepared, it may sting.

Thank you very much for the help. Do you think it would be good to apply that to a two or one month kitten? Also I was given by the vet wet surgery wipes. I clean his cuts with that as well. I will enter a picture of his cut. It's small but looks deep. Vet said possibly another older cat bit him.

It wouldn't hurt to ask your vet or a holistic vet about using coconut oil. It is safe if eaten by the kitties and very gentle, doesn't sting but does have antibacterial, antiviral properties. I used coconut oil on a young cat that had been attacked by raccoons; my vet approved it, especially since the cat's cuts wouldn't heal, despite trying 2 different oral antibiotics as well as 2 different topical ointments. Her cuts were deep, too, but we chose not to stitch them up because raccoon bite are terribly filthy. She made a complete recovery.

I did not know that about coconut oil. Thank you. I have used it only for constipation, now it makes the money I spent on it worth even more.

I would not put any ointment on it without talking to the vet. If you put something on it and it stings I have no idea how a semi feral (stray) would react to that.

The kitten is not aggressive at all. Non of the kittens react badly. They are very Sweet. But very true first I should ask a vet. My vet are closed right now.

At this point I would keep the injuries clean with the vet wipes, and continue with the antibiotics. I would not apply anything other than coconut oil, and continue feeding the cats and kittens as often as possible.

I woke up today and the mother killed and injured the two other babies. Very sad to see. The two babies who were with me in my room survived. Which were the injured ones I found yesterday.

I am so very sorry to hear this. Be sure, especially now, not to let mamma in with those babies.

You will need to buy a formula for the remaining kittens. I'm guessing this is a first time mother and she is inexperienced. You will have to look after the remaining kittens.
