Good morning from a new member with 2 new kittens. Having gone without a cat for a number of years due to fostering dogs (Jack Russells and English Shepherds) we, just this week, took 2 girl kittens from a horse barn because our barn is being overrun with mice. Please don't flame me as our cats will be responsibly cared for and will hunt for sport. I understand the song bird issue but I hope with plenty off good food and love they won't resort to that. And perhaps the mice will move on to safer pastures. We live well off the road and the cats will live in the heated barn office as their bedroom.
Sissy is an older kitten, a black and white tuxedo. Crème is quite striking in color and I will post her photos under a new thread so I can have your assistance in naming her coloration. We live in in central North Carolina USA. I have to say finding this site this past Tuesday after the kittens arrived was a salve to my mental health knowing what was coming yesterday. I look forward to my time here and interacting as my schedule permits. I was a vet tech many years ago and will enjoy updating some of my knowledge through this peer group.
