Making George Stella's recipe for chili turkey burgers, salad, fresh asparagus, probably a serving of dark almond chocolate for dessert or a brown cow yogurt OR two slices of gluten free bread with the burgers, and then a single after dinner chocolate mint with my decaf :)

That Recipe Exchange is great. We need to open that up so folks can post more recipes. I am really looking at the crockpot ones.
There is a website called crockpot365.blogspot.com where they cook a new crockpot recipe everyday for a year. She gives you a review from her family members.

Thanks, Smitten!!

Dinner tonight is a pork chop......again. I froze them 2 to a pack, so I have another one I need to use up now because I couldn't eat them both at one time; well, I could have, but not a good idea. Last night's chop with the apple butter BBQ sauce was so good. I have the other one marinating in a chipotle marinade now to grill tonight.

Anyone can post in there, it isn't restricted. :bigthumb:

I'm trying a new recipe for lettuce wraps tonight made with ground turkey. My mother's 80th birthday is soon and I think I will be having the immediate family over for appetizer type foods and cake. I'm test driving this recipe for that. :)

Oh.....my......gosh. Just shoot me now. I love Cheddar Jack Cheez-its! You are one bad, bad girl! It only took me two days to go through my Duoz! And now I want more.
:flail: I love to be "bad" :eyebrows:

SO tonight I pick up Larry from the airport at about 7:00 p.m. :heart2: I think we are stopping for Mexican on the way home. :D

I love lettuce wraps. Just in case you don't like that recipe, I made the PF Chang lettuce wrap copycat recipe and they were delicious!

The recipe is on food.com.

I've seen that recipe before and it looks delicious! I was a bit  at the amount of sugar and oil in it though. We've been trying to eat a bit healthier lately. It's been a struggle. :lol3:

I combined a few different recipes and came up with this:

It was really tasty and fast to make!

We have a bit more of the lettuce wrap filling from last night, so we will have that, but it is not enough, so I am going to test drive an other recipe that I am thinking of making for my mother's birthday party - buffalo chicken meatballs.

I'm making a new dish, Coconut Lime Chicken. It also has curry, cumin and jalapeno, and only coconut milk, not the actual coconut. Oh, and cilantro on top. I'm hoping it's really good! :)

Your recipe sounds delicious AND healthy. I'm going to try it. Do you have a link for the buffalo chicken meatballs? I love tabasco sauce.

They need some tweaking. As it is I more than doubled the spices and found the meatballs to be a bit bland. Once you toss them in buffalo sauce they are fine, but I would like the meatball themselves to have a little more flavor.

I also like to roast cauliflower with a little olive oil and sea salt. Then I pour tobasco sauce over them. It's a nice lower calorie/ fat version of hot wings. You do have to use your imagination a little

You mentioned you like Cheez-its. Have you tried tabasco cheeze-its? They're like cats, you can't have just one. My favorite salty snack.
Are you serious??? Really? I've never seen them! I will look when we get groceries the next time. That could easily be a new addiction!!! Thanks!

Not sure about dinner tonight. Neither Rick nor I have been feeling the best and I haven't really cooked the weekend. Last night I ate some SmartPop kettle korn for dinner and Rick had a bowl of cereal. I may just grab something from the freezer tonight.

We went to one of the fish markets right near the fishing port over the weekend and bought a bunch of things right off the boat. Tonight we'll be having Littleneck clams and sea scallops. We also bought a lot of salmon.
