I got a package!!!

I'm pretty sure it's from my Secret Santa because I don't recognize the name on the return address. It's covered with cute penguins and reindeer.
Miss Patchwillow came to check it out.
The rest of the kitties are sacked out somewhere around the house.
I have to wait for the kitties to wake up so I can take pictures of the opening. I probably won't have any more pictures to post until after the Christmas Eve activities, and it will almost be Christmas by then so I can go ahead and open all the presents.

WOW! My kitties and I made out like bandits this year.
Waiting (not so) patiently for the box opener
Lots of tissue paper for the kitties
The stash--all the presents you see under the tree, including the cute stockings.

There are so many I'm sure I'll miss something.
Sadly, some of the chocolates didn't survive the trip from the box to the photo op. :boohoo:
2 great jigsaw puzzles
a CD of classical music
a cat ring holder (I'm going to have to take a separate picture of that, it doesn't show up well in this picture)
3 cat-shaped bag clips
fancy pencils (mine tend to grow furry legs and walk away)
an owl toothbrush cover (now how did you know my toothbrush needs protection? it's not like I can get them to chew on their own toothbrushes)
chocolate hazelnut flavored tea (I never would have thought of putting chocolate in tea. I'll have to try it out after I finish my current cup of tea.)
a rolling santa toy
a gel eye mask
a note pad, with a magnet on the back to stick on the refrigerator
several kinds of candy: chocolate, peppermint bark, chocolate & peppermint together
And for the kitties---little stocking with their names, stuff with sparkly balls and crinkle balls.
Iris tried to hoard the sparkly balls, but that didn't last long

Now I thought DH took a picture of the presents for me before I unwrapped them, but apparently not. So...here they are unwrapped:
I got some tasty looking chocolate, a cute santa ornament that's currently on my tree, a pair of adorable (and warm!) homemade felted wool shoes, a skein of unspun wool for me to crochet, dried fish treats for the cats, a lava rock from Northern Iceland and ash from Eyjafjallajökull. Also, missing from the picture because I was listening to it and forgot to put it in the pic

Freya and Wendel enjoying their Harðfiskur (Sybil was sleeping somewhere in the house avoiding the company) - this is huge! I've never gotten Freya to eat treats other than Temptations, but she LOVES this and they both acted completely nipped out afterwards!

Oops! Missed one. I left the presents out while I went to church Christmas Eve and somebody decided this was a kitty toy. I found it this morning when I was picking up bits of tissue paper.

Finally all unwrapped, and such a wonderful lot of gifts! So much thought has gone into finding really suitable things. There is even a gorgeous little angel made from raw cotton... I drove down the centre of the state recently, and there was a whole lot of cotton all over the side of the road that had come off the trucks and I thought 'there must be something I could do with that' and collected it. And now I know!!
I love the frame, the luggage tag, book marks, great little 'what goes around comes around' gift bag, little olive oil soap and farm cards.

And the cats are absolutely thrilled with their presents.. they have both crashed out on the bed after treats and...
...getting to know their new toys. I wish I had video as Sundar just went mad with the squeaky mouse... I've only activated one, so I can start up the other one when the first runs out of squeak! They are really novel.. never seen anything like them here.
And you can see they loved the balls.
The dangly butterfly I'm saving for later.
