Have you ever accidently gave your kitty a little static shock when you go to pet them? The first time it happened to my other cats they didn't mind it so much. But the first time it happened to my little girl kitty she acted like my hands had 100% pure evil in them for about a week haha. She also gave me a little sour face look.

That must have been some shock!  I've shocked my cats before and they've moved away but not shunned me a week.  This is the season for shocks, unfortunately.

Yep! He scrunches up his face and avoids my hands but regular petting reassures him that it's accidental and he forgives quickly. It's too bad I can't explain to him that rubbing all over my legs and the fabric furniture is what causes the problem in the first place...
