Hi,
I've never posted on any forum, ever, but I have a young cat that I love dearly and he seems to be having some trouble. Yesterday I noticed that he had less energy, was licking his lips and swallowing a lot, along with gagging, but not producing any vomit.
He's only 11 months old, indoor only, on canned food mostly with access to some dry throughout the day. He still has a healthy appetite (ravenous) for both his food and treats. Wondering if it's a hairball he's just working out or if maybe it's something more serious?
We unfortunately just recently (last week) paid for our only other cat to have some treatments done at the vet that were not cheap (spent around $1,000), so before heading straight back, I just wanted to see if anyone had any thoughts...The other cat is only 2, indoor only, as well and is now healthy after the treatments his had done.
Thanks for reading.
