Ignoring whether or not a cat will eat a certain food, or how much the food costs, taking everything into consideration, what would you consider to be the best food available?
I've been reading and understand that organic in pet food doesn't necessarily mean organic, nor does human grade ingredients mean what we would think it would mean.
So, are there any brands out there that do offer true human grade? With no potentially bad stuff imported from China? What would you feed your own cat(s) if it was something they would eat? And why?
I'm about to embark on a weight loss program for Swanie which is long overdue. I want to no only feed him less food, I want to feed him the best food I can find (and can afford).
I won't feed raw, so that's out, but I'll consider anything and everything else.
Thanks for reading this, and thanks for any input.
EDIT: I'm talking about wet food, not dry food
