Yellow Puke/substance?!?

This has been happening for awhile, but it was only once a week before. Now its is happening every few days and today it happened twice a day. I'm not sure who exactly the culprit is, but I keep finding dried puke on my carpet in odd shapes. Sometimes in the shape of poop but it just smells like cat food and not puke.

Any idea whats going on?? it happened twice today?!?!

I'm trying to wean my cats off of purina kitten chow, but could it have been a bad bag?

It looks like a hairball. Maybe try giving hairball treats or paste every other day if they are old enough.

Unfortunately a lot of things can cause vomiting. Your best bet would be to ask your vet about testing for possible causes.

Given the frequency of vomiting I wouldn't think that it is just hairballs. One possibility is a food intolerance. You could test for intolerance with a novel protein limited ingredient diet trial for 6-8 weeks to see if that fixes the issue.

Edit: also the puke looks like it could be a mix of bile and a light coloured kibble, with a hairball mixed in.
