Hi Everyone.
I have two tortoiseshell 7 month old kittens from the same litter; they are sisters.
One is bigger than the other. I'm worried because when they chase each other around the house, my bigger one will seem to tire herself out until she starts panting but her smaller sister never pants. When I look the bigger one while she's panting, she lays down on the floor and spreads out to cool herself off and I can see her breathing / heart rate is elevated.
I read that panting is normal in cats, and even when she's laying down and cooling off her sister will run up to her and they will start running around again together but the bigger one will just breathe through her mouth more.
My bigger one also sneezes all the time, she sometimes has these sneezing fits where it's like 20 rapid sneezes, almost like she can't breathe because she's sneezing in and out. Usually lasts 5 or 8 seconds.
I hope she doesn't have a bad heart and any time shes been to the vet she's been okay, maybe she has a difficult sinus passage or something.
