I keep looking at it in the shops and i was going to try the 14 day trial but
is it any good? and is it worth the money and computer memory?

But the graphics aren't truly 5 years old. As I already mentioned, each expansion adds graphics that push cards more and more. If, say, someone tries to play it with a nvidia 9500GT, a card that isn't that old, they will have issues. Turn up the details, and you need more graphics power.Originally Posted by Mai_kitties
The environment is still one of the best I have seen even with the graphics being 5 years old. It's not really flashy or full of awesome graphics but I can also play it on my subpar system without it needing a major overhaul.
I'm hooked on this game. I play a druid which is a character where you can shapeshift into different forms including a Kitty and a Cheetah. I chose this character because of the whole getting to play as a kitty thing.Originally Posted by -_aj_-

I sometimes play on a computer that has runs on a integrated GPU Intel Q33 Express, and it runs with all of the settings turned down very seamlessly. That is the beauty of this game, you don't have to have a GTX 285 in order to enjoy the game play. Yes, if you want to run on Ultra settings with everything maxed out you would need a beefy card, but you don't lose anything if you don't.Originally Posted by strange_wings

Chances are you have a lot of the details and shadows off if you're not noticing anything or you have a higher end gaming card in your system. Be prepared for this year's expansion.

I had soooo much fun playing it... but I just thought I was playing it too much. I think if you give yourself a limit on how much time to play and not let it take over your life, then you should try it! But if you find yourself playing the game and having to go to the bathroom, but holding for a couple hours as you are in a dungeon on a group raid for 3 hours at 4am and haven't answered any calls as you can't pick up the phone because you can't pause and don't want to die... then maybe you are too addicted.
Haha... yes WoW can get very addicting. There have been nights when my friends will call and I had to tell them I was raiding and couldn't go out with them.Originally Posted by killerapple
